The Finucane Island upgrade involved the construction of landside and marine infrastructure to facilitate increased handling capacity, with our scope comprising approximately 4,500 tonnes of steelwork, including structural steel, conveyers, platework and transfer stations.
Modules were fully fabricated, assembled and despatched from Civmec’s waterfront facility at Henderson, enabling BHP Billiton to achieve first ore three months ahead of schedule.
