The MEG are an advisory group consisting of Noongar elders who have been invaluable partners in providing cultural and heritage advice to inform design elements of the Causeway Pedestrian and Cyclist Bridges project.

During their visit, the MEG, alongside members of the Causeway Link Alliance and Main Roads, were given a tour of our Henderson Facility that was led by our Executive Chairman, Jim Fitzgerald, and Executive General Manager of Manufacturing, David Power.

This visit provided an incredible opportunity for the MEG to witness the project they’ve been passionately contributing to as it takes shape before their eyes.

The collaboration and wisdom of the MEG has been instrumental in ensuring that the project will truly reflect the rich Whadjuk Noongar culture and heritage of the project site. We are deeply grateful for their guidance and partnership on this iconic, West Australian project.
