The theme for this year’s NAIDOC Week is “For Our Elders,” highlighting the vital role elders play in our communities as cultural knowledge holders, trailblazers, nurturers, advocates, teachers, survivors, leaders, and hard workers.

Throughout the week, various Civmec sites and facilities held events and distributed Civmec NAIDOC brochures, coming together with First Nations Peoples and businesses, to educate and celebrate.

It is our hope that by promoting togetherness and understanding between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians, we can build a more inclusive society that cherishes the wisdom of Elders for future generations.
