Civmec’s recently launched ‘Reflect’ Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) has formalised a history of initiatives designed to help close the gap for Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities. As Civmec embarks on its RAP journey our priority will be to develop stronger and more meaningful relationships and partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Our vision will be underpinned by understanding it will be essential to:

• Developing a better understanding of cross cultural sensitives.
• Ensuring that our employees understand and support the principles and agreed actions for our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
• Enabling our staff to develop relationships in their professional and personal spheres with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees and the local and broader Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
• Recognising that our contribution to the community reflects shared values and delivers positive community solutions.
