Damian Kelliher will step down from the position EGM International and Commercial and Risk and will concentrate his efforts on the role of Chief Operating Officer for Civtec Africa. Civtec Africa is 50% owned by Civmec. Damian will focus on opportunities in the Energy, Infrastructure and Water sectors in the region. Over the past six months Damian has assisted Adam Goldsmith to seamlessly transition into the role.
Since Adam joined the Group he has made a significant contribution to the Company. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, with quantity surveying and construction law qualifications. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Executive Team with over 25 years commercial and risk management experience with major UK and Australian companies.
The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Damian for his valuable contribution during his time with Civmec and wishes him every success in his new role.
We would also like to take this opportunity to advise that Terry Hemsworth will retire from the Executive Team at the end of April 2018. Terry has reached retirement age but will stay with the company in a reduced capacity. Terry joined the Company in 2010, and has played an enormous role in the early stages of the Company, continuing to contribute significantly throughout the Company’s growth. The Board and Staff appreciates all that Terry has done for the Group and are delighted that Terry intends to remain part of the team and offer his sound judgement as requested in future decision making.
