The Perth Stadium Steelwork Package comprised the fabrication, supply and erection of key elements of the stadium structure, including the structural frame and roof trusses and various precast elements, including installation of the seating platforms.

Civmec fabricated 15,700 tonnes of structural steel at its Henderson facility, including the 50 roof trusses, each about 45m long and 5m wide.

A significant innovation Civmec brought to the project was to produce the roof trusses as a single-piece element delivered complete to the Stadium, rather than the four pieces as originally designed.
